For our Winter 2020 Workshops, we are extending the invitation to ANY type of businesses! But are focusing the Fort Jones Jan and March sessions on small business owners in farming and ranching or the agriculture industry in general and the February Palm Springs workshop on Social Media and Branding for ANY business!

WORKSHOP REUNION 2020!

LOCATION: PALm springs, California!

for anyone who attended workshops 1, 2 or 3 in 2019

*Bring your laptop because entrepreneurs never really stop working :) we’ll have some fun with Adobe Creative Suite, Squarespace website builder, work on some design and marketing - and have a whole lot of fun finding community and camaraderie with the M5 Entrepreneurs who formed friendships already! Location TBD in Palm Springs, a shared house with pool, shared family style meals and shared bedrooms.

INVESTMENT:

INtensive in-person Workshop investment ~ $1650 per person

• Includes 3 days and 2 nights of lodging, includes all meals, drinks and the course material with some fun extra goodies and resource materials. Must be enrolled in the Complete Small Business Course to attend.

AT OUR SMALL BUSINESS WORKSHOPS

what to bring

• A laptop computer

• A cell phone with a camera

• Any of your current business materials that may be helpful (brochures, marketing materials) and access to your website if applicable

• Attire: Indoor learning clothes = comfortable! sweats and slippers are totally acceptable :)

  • A nicer outfit for dinner out at The Burgerhouse if you’d like (but it’s casual!)

  • A get dirty outfit or mud boots for a ranch tour and chores

LODGING

Workshops take place at Five Marys Guesthouse - an 1865 historic Craftsman home and grounds located in downtown Fort Jones, California (elevation 2,700 feet)

Participants stay in one of three shared “conversation rooms” with twin beds (8 in the spacious loft upstairs and 3 each in the downstairs bedrooms) and share two bathrooms.

If private bedroom is preferred, there is a lodge in town that is an option to rent on your own - but much of the fun is the camaraderie with other like-minded entrepreneurs!

We provide all meals, snacks and beverages during your workshop stay.

TRAVEL

Participants are responsible for getting themselves to Fort Jones, but everything is included once you are here and you shouldn’t need a vehicle. We help participants connect for carpool options as many fly into Medford at similar times.

• Closest Airport is Medford, Oregon (MFR) 1.25 hours north. Alaska and United fly in frequently. Rental cars are easy, we can try to help guests coordinate carpooling after flight arrangements are made.

• Second closest airport is Redding Airport (RDD) 2 hours south, United

• Third closest is Sacramento, CA (SAC) 4 hours south, but has lots of flights on Southwest.
